Location, Location, Location!
Canary District is part of the West Don Lands master-planned community. Its proximity to the Don River Park (opening in 2013), the Distillery District, the downtown core and highways makes it a very attractive location for many. “I can’t believe I am in the middle of downtown”, says Mike, a resident in nearby Corktown District.
Canary District and the Athlete’s Village
We’ve been asked this question many times: will the athletes of the Pan Am Games actually be living in these condo units? According to Jason, yes! The athletes will indeed reside in Canary District.
One important note: flooring and kitchens will only be installed after the Games (when the athletes have moved out). Tarion Warranty coverage will begin after a unit owner takes occupancy of the unit post-Games, in 2016.
